Another Old One From PCD

IF YOU
GO SEARCHING THROUGH THE WORLD
LOOKING HARD TO FIND, TO SEE
ANY REMNANT OF GOOD
IN A LOST HUMANITY
KEEP SEARCHING.

DIGGING THROUGH THE RUBBLE-
ANY KINDNESS THAT YOU FIND,
YOU WILL TREASURE MORE.
ANY FORGIVENESS FOUND IS GOLD
WORTH DIGGING FOR.

KEEP SEARCHING-THIS WORLD
IS NOT ALL DROSS.
THERE ARE DIAMONDS IN THE CLAY TO POLISH
LAY BEFORE THE CROSS.
ANY SIN STRUCK SOUL BEFRIENDED-
MET WITH CHRIST BEFORE ALL CHANCE IS ENDED...
CAN BECOME A PRECIOUS STONE IN HIS HOUSE.
KEEP SEARCHING.

FOR YOU WERE TAKEN FROM THE MUD-
REACHED WITH WORDS YOU KNEW WERE SPOKEN IN
A SPECIAL CHRIST-LIKE LOVE;
YOU MAY HAVE BEEN UNLOVABLE
TO ANYONE BUT GOD,
BUT HIS LOVE SENT SOMEONE SEARCHING THROUGH THE WORLD,
AND YOU WERE FOUND.

The picture was drawn by a ten year old (!) after reading a Dr. Suess book. It has nothing to do with the post, except I found it on reddit and I like it, and wanted to show it here.
The song is from PCD, also known as my Pre Computer days. I have no idea when I wrote it, but it is at least over 20 years old.
Here's a question for those who think that Christians are gleeful about people going to hell:
if that were really the case, why would we share the Gospel?
If we hate everyone who isn't saved...why do we make such efforts to warn of hell and declare Heaven is available to those who seek God?
It's no great riddle-as I've said many times online and offline: I would love to see Heaven full and hell empty.
I would love to see you in Heaven, no matter who you are.
